Key Club International is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. It is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through service to others. Key Club International's major emphasis is: "Children: Their Future, Our Focus.” This unites Key Clubs under the banner of service that deals with the most important part of our community, our youth.
Key Club is a student run organization dedicated to service in the community. Members volunteer in local organizations dedicated to advancing community and youth development and in the process, learn leadership and interpersonal skills. Key Club is a volunteer program that connects students at Huron with many opportunities to give back to the community as well as a place where students who wish to partake in such events can come together.
Key Club is a great organization that brings together students in grades 9-12 who are genuinely interested in giving back to the community and volunteering their time for charitable organizations. While most members are dedicated to the major emphasis of Key Club, in volunteering time for organizations and other community members, Key Club is also a good place for students that need volunteer hours for other organizations such as National Honor Society or for those who simply wish to make new friends and interact with upperclassmen that can aid younger students in transitioning to high school and provide advice for their future endeavors. And, most importantly, it's fun!
